Istanbul: Al Madinah Region Development Authority is highlighting its efforts and expertise in mosque architecture during the 4th International Conference on Mosque Architecture 2025 in Istanbul from November 4 to 6, organized by the Abdullatif Al Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture and attended by leading international experts and specialized organizations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, through its participation, the authority is showcasing the distinctive architectural character of Madinah’s historic mosques and its efforts to preserve their authentic identity as part of the region’s urban development projects, reflecting the harmony between tradition and modernity in mosque design.

The authority is also presenting its key development projects and initiatives in this field, along with its comprehensive approach to restoring and developing historic mosques within an urban vision that integrates spiritual, aesthetic, and sustainability dimensions, in line with Madinah’s unique identity and its religious and historical significance.
