Al-Kassabi: Royal Order to Transform Ehsan into Independent Non-Profit Institution Strengthens Charitable Work Development

Riyadh: Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ehsan Foundation for Charitable Work, Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi, expressed his deepest gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, following the issuance of the royal order that transforms the National Platform for Charitable Work (Ehsan) into an independent, non-profit foundation now titled "Ehsan Foundation for Charitable Work," as well as the issuance of the royal order forming its board of trustees.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al-Kassabi commended the efforts and contributions of the people of Saudi Arabia, along with public and private sector partners and philanthropists, who have established Ehsan as a national model of social solidarity. He noted that this transformation marks a new chapter in Ehsan's journey, which began with the development of a trusted national model for digital charitable giving, grounded in governance and transparency.

Dr. Al-Kassabi explained that becoming an independent institution will grant Ehsan broader powers and greater flexibility to adapt to the sector's evolving needs and rapid growth. This transition is expected to contribute to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by enhancing the efficiency of the non-profit sector.
