Jeddah: Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi visited the Jeddah Central Stadium project, one of the venues set to host the FIFA World Cup 2034, and reviewed the progress of construction works and the stages of project implementation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, Dr. Al-Kassabi was briefed on the project's implementation stages and construction works, which are 35% complete. He examined the stadium's key engineering features and technologies, along with its various facilities. The stadium is designed to accommodate 45,000 spectators.
The stadium includes a retractable roof, allowing it to be fully covered, and incorporates cooling systems that extend across the pitch, stands, and surrounding walkways, offering an integrated experience for athletes, fans, and visitors.
