The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar Al-Hakim, discussed today, Tuesday, with the Head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Pavel Talabani, supporting the government and preparing for the benefits of the next stage.

A statement by Al-Hakim's office stated: "During the meeting, the two sides discussed files to support the government in implementing its program, political stability, ways to strengthen it, coordinate positions internally, and prepare for the benefits of the next stage. The visions also agreed to support the government of Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to achieve sustainable stability."

During the meeting, al-Hakim recalled "the inter-relationship that brought him together with the late President Jalal Talabani in combating dictatorship, confronting terrorism and building the modern Iraqi state," wishing the Union "constant success and prosperity."

He stated, "Iraq is going through an unprecedented state of stability, and everyone's task is to preserve, develop and enhance it," calling for "investing opportunities to go for radical solutions to the outstanding or transferred files."

Al-Hakim stressed, "Enacting laws that contribute to strengthening the status of the political system and completing its legal structure," calling for "the unity of the Kurdish ranks, coordination of positions, and electoral competition on the basis of programs, service, and public benefit," reiterating his position in support of "any step that contributes to calm in all political arenas."
