Al-Baha: The Tihama area of Al-Baha region experienced moderate to heavy rainfall, with waterfalls cascading from the mountains, creating a breathtaking landscape, while the Sarat area saw a significant drop in temperatures.

According to Saudi Press Agency, to escape the severe cold currently affecting the region, locals traditionally head to the valleys and plains of Tihama. The Governorates of Al-Makhwah, Qilwah, Al-Hujrah, and Ghamid Al-Zinad have seen a considerable influx of visitors and residents seeking warmer, more moderate temperatures.

The region’s municipality has prepared tourist sites, public parks, squares, and beaches, while also hosting festivals and organizing events to cater to the needs of visitors from both within and outside Al-Baha.

Popular markets are filled with aromatic plants, honey, wooden crafts, popular cuisine, and fresh produce and grains, making it a winter tourist destination due to its warm climate.
