Al-baha: Al-Baha University ranked 1,189th globally in the 2025 UI GreenMetric classification and 15th nationally among Saudi universities. The university stated that this ranking reflects its sustained efforts to achieve academic excellence across all fields, as well as its commitment to sustainability, the environment, and the quality of campus life.

According to Saudi Press Agency, President of the University Dr. Abdullah Al-Hussein noted that the university, guided by its mission, vision, and strategic plans, is working to strengthen its position locally and globally. He added that this achievement comes in addition to the accomplishments the university has attained at both the international and national levels.
