Al-baha: The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture's regional branch in Al-Baha has completed the second phase of its coffee cultivation initiative, planting more than 800 coffee seedlings today in the Thee Ain Historical Village.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative is part of the Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program (Saudi Reef) and the Saudi Green Initiative, in collaboration with the REEF National Foundation. The project aims to plant a total of 1,000 coffee trees to support farmers and enhance regional agricultural sustainability.
Director General of the Al-Baha branch, Eng. Fahd Al-Zahrani, stated that the initiative fosters the development of coffee as a promising crop, supports local farmers, and enhances productivity.
