Al-Ardah Overlook Development Project Enhances Mountain Tourism in Jazan

Damascus: Al-Ardah GovernorateAl-Ardah Governorate, east of Jazan Region, continues to stand out as a year-round destination for residents and visitors thanks to its mountains, valleys, forests, parks, and natural viewpoints, particularly during the current rainy season, which adds to the beauty of its highlands and attractions and reinforces its position on the region's tourism map. According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Ardah Overlook, established in 1431 AH, is one of the region's prominent mountain tourism landmarks. Spanning 288,000 square meters and built at a total cost of SAR5 million, the site offers panoramic views of Al-Ardah Governorate and several of its affiliated villages and centers, making it a popular destination year-round. Jazan Region Municipality, represented by Al-Ardah Governorate, is currently carrying out rehabilitation and development works at the overlook as part of a project aimed at enhancing the site's tourism and recreational features and upgrading its facilities in line with th e growing demand for mountain destinations.
