The Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Amiri, confirmed that the Iraqis will not abandon the Palestinian cause, and their hearts and swords are with the people of Palestine.
The Badr Organization’s media office stated: “Al-Amiri met today, Monday, in his office in Baghdad, with the head of the Palestinian National Council, Rawhi Fattouh, and his accompanying delegation.”
The meeting discussed the situation of the Palestinian people, the ongoing Zionist violations and attacks on defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip, and the opening of humanitarian relief corridors.
Al-Amiri said that the resistance in Gaza, despite the severe siege by land, air and sea, carried out a courageous and impressive operation that resulted in great results, indicating that the conditions that the Hamas movement is currently going through are the same conditions that Hezbollah went through in the battle of July 2006, which culminated in a great victory, pointing out that the ongoing battle with the Zionist enemy will end with a great victory for the Palestinian resistance and people.
Al-Amiri added: “The Palestinian cause will remain alive in the hearts of the Iraqi people with all its components and sects, and it will inevitably triumph,” explaining that the army of the Zionist entity, which was said to be invincible, has been humiliated and broken before the Palestinian resistance, and the Palestinian people will inevitably be victorious because God is with them.
Al-Amiri stressed that the Zionist entity is no longer as it was before the Al-Aqsa Flood, as it has become broken and defeated.
Al-Amiri continued the Palestinian delegation by saying: “We will not abandon the Palestinian cause, no matter what happens, and our hearts and swords are with you.”
For his part, Fattouh said, “We are not surprised by the honorable Iraqi position in support of the Palestinian cause,” expressing his thanks to the Iraqi people, government, parliament, and resistance, stressing that targeting civilians by the occupation will only increase the Palestinian people’s determination and resolve for the Palestinian cause.
