Riyadh, The 6th CEOs Forum, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monshaat), started today in Riyadh under the patronage of Minister of Commerce and Chairman of Monshaat Board of Directors Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi.
The forum brings together local and international experts, specialists and entrepreneurs to get acquainted with the latest developments in the field and innovations that can contribute to the growth of SMEs.
Monshaat Governor Sami Al-Husseini said that the authority seeks to support and develop fast-growing SMEs through activities, programs and events, including the present forum, which tackles several topics that contribute to empowering CEOs, and that help them take advantage of opportunities and keep pace with business developments to improve their enterprises.
Al-Husseini highlighted the vital role of fast-growing enterprises, their impact on global economies, and said that the Kingdom has over 17,000 enterprises that contribute more than 50% of the total growth in the proportion of SMEs' contribution to the GDP.
The governor added that the forum is one form of support, as it hosts CEOs and officials from 500 companies, and more than 40 local and international speakers, investors and decision makers who participate in several interactive and advisory sessions during the event.
