Riyadh: An earthquake measuring 6.8 rocked off the coast of New Zealand’s main South Island today.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers and about 100 kilometers from the South Island.

There have been no reports of casualties or damage so far.
