Riyadh: The organizing committee for the sixth International Video Art Forum, set to take place in mid-December, has announced the acceptance of 56 works from 29 countries. This decision comes after the registration period closed, during which 127 works were submitted from 41 countries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, as part of the preparations for the forum, a workshop on video art creation using AI was held yesterday. It discussed the future of the Arab film industry and video art production in the Kingdom and the Arab world, emphasizing the importance of advancing the visual culture movement and fostering and encouraging artists.
In its previous editions, the forum showcased over 823 artworks from more than 70 countries and hosted 31 specialized seminars and art workshops. Recognized as the first international gathering of its kind in the Gulf region, the forum has become a prominent platform for artists from around the world.
