Riyadh: A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck the North Sumatra Province in western Indonesia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the earthquake’s epicenter occurred about 50 kilometers from Sibolga, at a depth of 52 kilometers.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far.
