5.1-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Northern Iran

Riyadh: An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck today near the border between Iran’s Golestan and Semnan provinces:

According to Saudi Press Agency, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, with its epicenter located at longitude 54.83 and latitude 36.7.

No casualties or significant material damage have been reported following the tremor.
