4.8-Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Western Iran

Qasr-e Shirin: A 4.8-magnitude earthquake hit Qasr-e Shirin city in Kermanshah Province, western Iran, today.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the University of Tehran’s Institute of Geophysics reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 14 kilometers and was located 19 kilometers from Qasr-e Shirin.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far.
