300 Tons of Zamzam Water Available Daily for Ramadan Visitors at Prophet’s Mosque

Jeddah: The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque: is committed to enhancing services for visitors, ensuring they can perform their worship with ease and tranquility. A daily supply of Zamzam water, transferred from Makkah to Madinah, is among the key services provided, allowing visitors to enjoy the blessed water throughout the day.

According to Saudi Press Agency, through Suqiya Zamzam, the authority delivers 300 tons of Zamzam water to the Prophet’s Mosque each day during Ramadan. The water is distributed across 18,000 containers, which are placed inside the mosque, on its roof, and in its courtyards.

Additionally, Suqiya Zamzam provides Zamzam water bottles in the Rawdah, as well as single-use water bottles in the mosque’s courtyards. To cater to the elderly and people with disabilities, 60 Zamzam water carts have been deployed. More than 100 backpack-style containers are available for areas that are difficult to access with fixed dispensers.
