22 Projects Opened for Feedback through the Public Consultation Platform ‘Istitlaa’

Riyadh: The National Competitiveness Center’s Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has put forward 22 projects related to economic and development affairs. In cooperation with 15 government bodies, the NCC invites the general public, government entities, and the private sector to express their views and feedback on projects prior to their approval.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu has launched a public consultation project titled ‘List of pipeline corridors in the Royal Commission cities of Jubail and Yanbu,’ which aims to review the pipeline corridor regulations in the Royal Commission cities of Jubail and Yanbu. Public feedback on both projects will be accepted until December 30, 2025.

The Royal Commission for Makkah city and Holy Sites has put forward a key project on the Istitlaa platform titled ‘The Regulations Governing the Practice of Pilgrims Transportation Activity.’ This project aims to set rules and standards for the process of transporting pilgrims in a way that ensures the reliability of the services provided to them and secures their safety. Public feedback on the project is open until December 30, 2025.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation is seeking public feedback on a project titled ‘Regulatory Framework Granting Permit to Aviation Security Service Providers,’ which aims to ensure that aviation security service providers comply with the requirements of relevant regulations and international obligations related to civil aviation security. Public consultation on both projects will remain open until January 1, 2026.

The Jouf Strategic Development Office has put forward a key project on the Istitlaa platform titled ‘Development Projects Governance Policy in Al-Jouf Region.’ This project aims to organize the submission process for mega-development projects in accordance with the Early Notification Principle and approved criteria, improving coordination with service entities to ensure infrastructure readiness and efficient implementation. Public feedback on the project is open until January 2, 2026.

The introduction of draft regulations and similar projects through the Istitlaa platform serves as an affirmation of enhanced transparency in the legislative environment. In addition, Istitlaa fosters a culture of public participation by enabling citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to contribute their insights and feedback on proposed regulations related to the business environment.
