The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security announced the arrest of four wanted persons on charges of terrorism, kidnapping, and drug trafficking in Babylon and Baghdad governorates. The Ministry of Defense stated in a statement that: 'Through accurate intelligence information, the detachments of the Babylon Intelligence and Security Directorate, affiliated with the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security of the Ministry of Defense, arrested three persons wanted by the judiciary on charges of terrorism, drug trafficking, and smuggling of petroleum derivatives, and arrest warrants were issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Articles ( 1/4 terrorism, 28 drugs, 3 petroleum derivatives), and legal measures were taken against them and referred to the competent authorities.' It added, "With careful field follow-up, the detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate arrested one of those wanted by the judiciary in one of the areas of the capital, according to an arrest warrant issued against him in accordance with Article (421) of kidnapping, and he was handed over to the competent authorities. Mina: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has announced the readiness of the holy sites' accommodation for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit. The program is set to receive 3,322 pilgrims from 88 countries. Service committees are diligently preparing all facilities and providing necessary services at the accommodation before the guest's arrival to ensure a seamless and comfortable experience for the guests. The ministry has equipped the pilgrims' accommodation in the holy sites with guidance and welcome boards, as well as interactive smart screens displaying welcoming phrases. In addition to comprehensive services, the ministry has also deployed dedicated personnel to further ensure the guests' security, safety, and peace of mind while performing their rituals. The Dhi Qar Police Command announced the arrest of the killer of a police member who was honored with martyrdom while performing a security duty during the intervention to break up a quarrel in Sayed Dakhil District. The Police Command said, "The accused confessed to committing the crime attributed to him and his statements were recorded as a judicial confession and a legal evidence examination was conducted for him and it came in line with his confessions, as the investigating judge decided to detain him based on Article 406 of the Iraqi Penal Code." In a related context, the Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs in Maysan Governorate announced the arrest of an important drug dealer in his possession of (2) kilograms of narcotic substances. Riyadh: The Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen AlFadley has witnessed the signing of agreements worth over SAR4 billion that encourage investment in the poultry sector and enhance food security. The agreements were signed on the sidelines of the Middle East Poultry Expo held on Wednesday at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center under the slogan 'Maximizing value and reducing costs: Value engineering in the poultry industry'. The agreements will contribute to driving agricultural development and encourage investment in the poultry sector in the Kingdom, and are an opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency, enhance food security, and diversify sources of income in the Kingdom, in accordance with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030. The exhibition, the largest and most comprehensive in the poultry industry, hosted over 300 companies from 40 countries, including companies and experts in the poultry and animal health and nutrition sectors; its goal was to pr omote the use of modern technologies, and help the exchange of experience and practices in the poultry sector. Berlin: Saudi Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industry Affairs Engineer Khalil Ibrahim bin Salamah held meetings in the German city of Frankfurt yesterday with senior officials from leading German companies in the global manufacturing sector discussing strengthening industrial cooperation and the exchange of experiences in the field. Bin Salamah also touched upon the latest Industrial technologies and innovations, and presented the most prominent investment opportunities provided in the Kingdom's industrial sector. The meetings were held on the sidelines of ACHEMA, the leading tradeshow for the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry; discussions were held with Jagdamba Enterprise, Baker Hughes, Panametrics, Elektromag Makine, the GEA Group, Aylward Europe, LINDE and IMA. Bin Salamah also visited several big-name German petrochemical factories, such as Sanofi, during which he discussed enhancing innovation and sustainability and discovering opportunities to localize pharmaceutical industries. On the third day of his visit to Germany, Ibn Salamah, participates in a dialogue session titled 'Overcoming the Global Challenge of the Transition to Green Energy in the Chemical Industry', which addresses economic diversification, technical innovations, and sustainability.
