The ministry stated in a statement, 'Al-Hasnawi affirmed in his speech at the conference Iraq's support for the Palestinian cause and its demand for a unified international position for an immediate ceasefire and the initiation of a global campaign to relieve the Gaza Strip,' noting that 'the first batch of wounded and sick Palestinians was received for treatment in Iraq based on the Prime Minister's directive, 'stressing readiness to receive other batches.'
