The General Directorate of Passports has confirmed that it has utilized all of its resources to facilitate the entry procedures for pilgrims by providing qualified staff and modern technical devices at all ports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Felton received a comprehensive overview of Etidal's strategies in monitoring and combating extremist content, as well as the center's efforts to mitigate this content's impact on society. Riyadh: The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) is participating in the International Exhibition for the Non-Profit Sector 'IENA 2024', under the theme 'Effective Partnerships for Sustainable Development,' from May 26 to May 28, 2024. In the second edition of the IENA, the SDRPY will showcase its sustainable development projects and initiatives in Yemen. The SDRPY will highlight its development experience, which has contributed to improving the infrastructure efficiency of various vital sectors, enhancing rural resilience, economically empowering women, building productive community assets, developing capacities and personnel, and promoting sustainable development in Yemen. The program's participation in IENA aims to strengthen the building of effective partnerships and communication bridges and to collaborate in ways that contribute to achieving development in Yemen. Riyadh: The CEO of the Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities (APD), Dr. Hisham Alhaidary, inaugurated the Saudi International Exhibition for Disability and Rehabilitation Requirements (Saudi Rehab Expo) at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, in the presence of a number of the ambassadors, senior officials, and representatives of companies and local and international bodies participating in the exhibition. Dr. Alhaidary was briefed on the expo's sections and pavilions, which included various local and international associations and companies specialized in manufacturing and supplying supplies and tools to help persons with disabilities. This exhibition will display the latest innovative technologies that can assist people living with disabilities to overcome many obstacles by using creative treatments and rehabilitation equipment. It will also emphasize the community's role and responsibility toward the needs of individuals with disabilities and their rights. Makkah, The bus guidance centre responsible for transporting Hajj pilgrims has announced its operational readiness for the upcoming 1445 AH Hajj season. Comprehensive plans have been implemented under government directives to ensure a smooth experience for the pilgrims. The centre's Director General, Abdullah Sindi, stated that the centre has trained over 1,300 guides equipped with hundreds of smart devices. These resources aim to facilitate the transportation of pilgrims from the arrival point at Al Nawariyah to their designated residences. The pilgrims' bus journey begins at the Al Nawariyah station, where they are received. There, trained national staff efficiently carry out necessary procedures. Sindi emphasized that the centre employs modern technologies, including electronic registration linked to the Hajj and Umrah Information Center, enabling swift and direct reception of pilgrim data to ensure the provision of exceptional services. Upon completing the necessary procedures, the buses are directed to the pilgrims' residences in Makkah. Accompanied by assigned guides, the pilgrims' journey is made even more convenient through the utilization of smart devices, which are monitored through smart maps at the centre's monitoring and control department. This meticulous approach ensures the buses reach the pilgrims' residences as quickly as possible, guaranteeing their comfort. Sindi expressed his deep appreciation for the support and guidance of the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, and the Vice Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdulfattah bin Sulaiman Mashat. He also commended the efforts of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah officials, the President of the Coordination Council for Hajj Tawafa Companies and Foreign Pilgrim Service Providers, and the President of the General Syndicate of Cars in harnessing all resources to serve the pilgrims.
