Mogadishu, The Kidney Dialysis Center at Banadir Hospital in Mogadishu, Federal Republic of Somalia, continues its medical services supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). During April, the center catered to a total of 384 patients, including 160 patients who underwent 1,321 scheduled kidney dialysis sessions and 10 emergency sessions, while 188 individuals received medical examinations at the kidney disease clinic. Of the patients served, 65% were males, and 35% were females. About 3% of the beneficiaries were displaced persons. The support comes as an extension of the relief projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to raise the capabilities of the health sector and try to alleviate the suffering of the Somali people. Manama, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, received Shaikha Azza bint Rashid Al Nuaimi, the Chairwoman of the Women and Child Protection Foundation in the UAE. The meeting discussed the developmental initiatives and projects provided by the ministry in the field of women and child protection and the welfare programs through specialised social institutions and temporary and alternative shelter centers, to achieve family stability and psychological safety of the child. He said that the ministry seeks to provide many developmental services through community partnership programs with government sectors and civil and private society organisations. Shaikha Azza bint Rashid visited Dar Al-Aman house for women subjected to domestic violence, and the Child Protection Center. Shaikha Azza bint Rashid was introduced to the most important procedures, of both the center and house, related to securing temporary shelter for individuals and families exposed to domestic violence, and child p rotection services. Shaikha Azza bint Rashid commended the ministry's efforts in securing the safety of both women and children and providing quality social, psychological and legal services for them. Two American citizens were killed as a result of an attack by an armed gang in Haiti. The American NBC channel, citing the families of the two victims, revealed that the Americans who were killed were the couple David and Natalie Lloyd, who were working in Haiti as part of an American missionary group from the state of Oklahoma. Rapid Response Division forces arrested 3 wanted persons on charges of drug trade and promotion in Anbar. The Division stated in a statement: 'The forces of the Fifth Brigade, affiliated with the Rapid Response Division Command in the Ministry of Interior, arrested 3 wanted persons, in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of Drugs, in the city of Ramadi in Anbar Governorate.' It explained: 'The arrest of the wanted persons was carried out in cooperation with the Directorate of Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in the governorate, in coordination with the Rapid Response Intelligence Department, and the wanted persons and the seized items were delivered to the requesting party. Federal Police Command forces arrested (7) people accused of various legal cases in Baghdad. The Command stated in a statement: 'The security effort of the units of the First Division of the Federal Police, with the support of the intelligence effort, resulted in the arrest of 7 defendants accused of legal matters that varied between (fighting, fraud, and suspect) along with the seizure of Kalashnikov rifles. The operations were carried out according to judicial arrest warrants, and during the implementation of security practices within the areas of responsibility in the areas (Zafaraniya, Nahrawan, Karrada, and Al-Obaidi), and the accused were referred to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal and investigative procedures against them.
