Yemen’s rebels say coalition strikes killed 12 civilians in Sana’a

At least 12 people were killed in strikes carried out by the Saudi-led military coalition on Yemen’s rebel-held capital Sana’a, a rebel official said on Tuesday. The coalition launched strikes late Monday, after the Houthi rebels claimed an attack targeting vital facilities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The UAE is Saudi Arabia’s main partner in the coalition formed in 2015 to fight the Houthis after they seized Sana’a and other areas in Yemen.
