Verstappen faster than Hamilton in final Saudi GP practice

Max Verstappen struck back against Lewis Hamilton with the fastest time in final practice for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix before qualifying on Saturday. Hamilton’s Mercedes topped the timesheets in both sessions Friday but in third practice Red Bull’s Verstappen posted a best 1 minute 28.100 seconds around the tight 6.174-kilometre Jeddah street circuit. Verstappen used only the softest tyres while Hamilton experimented throughout the session.
