Riyadh: The Unified Hajj Media Operations Center is taking part in the fifth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition 1447 AH, organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in cooperation with the Pilgrim Experience Program, from November 9 to 12. The center’s 200-square-meter interactive pavilion provides an advanced model of media innovation, offering a smart, real-time coverage experience that documents and highlights media efforts during the Hajj season.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the pavilion features an innovative media hub that provides immersive interactive experiences for visitors and professionals, with dedicated spaces and studios supporting both local and international broadcasting and coverage. It also includes the ‘Hajj window’ experience, which gathers media professionals to share impactful stories and field reports through creative visual storytelling, reflecting the spiritual and humanitarian message of Hajj.
Additionally, the ‘field correspondent’ experience offers a realistic simulation of on-site reporting, allowing visitors to experience live news coverage in a professional setting. The pavilion also includes an ‘early media permit’ area, developed in cooperation with the General Commission for Audiovisual Media.
The participation enhances the unified national media narrative of the Hajj season and underscores the Ministry of Media’s role-through the Unified Hajj Media Operations Center-in coordinating media entities to convey the Kingdom’s leading efforts in serving pilgrims.
