Somali PM welcomes President’s acceptance to suspend Intelligence Chief

Mogadishu Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Hussein Roble welcomed President Farmajo’s acceptance to suspend former Intelligence Chief, Fahad Yasin Haji Dahir, SONNA reported.

The Prime Minister commanded the new interim chief of Intelligence and Security Agency, Bashir Mohamed Jama to start his job soon and ordered agency officers to work with him fully.

Mr. Roble said in a statement that the confirmed to the public that statements from the office of the president on date 6-7 September this month, showed that he still flows after the responsibilities of the electoral security in which the president handed over to the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister expressed concern over the president’ move to hindering to find justice for Ikran Tahlil Farah’s case where justice agencies were rejected to make complete investigation into the case.

The Prime Minister called for to be united for how peaceful elections would take place in the country and face challenges against it.
