‘Smart Bracelet’ by Alrifada Pilgrims Services Wins Praise from Pilgrims’ Affairs Offices

Makkah: The ‘Smart Bracelet’ initiative featuring integrated NFC technology, showcased by Alrifada Pilgrims Services through its booth at the fifth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in cooperation with the Pilgrim Experience Program under the theme ‘From Makkah to the World,’ received wide acclaim from officials of pilgrims’ affairs offices for its high-quality and precise technical services.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Alrifada Pilgrims Services CEO Abdulaziz Alawi said that the bracelet will be used during the upcoming 1447 AH Hajj season in an initial phase and distributed to more than 10,000 pilgrims for trial before being rolled out to all pilgrims served by Alrifada in future years.

He noted that the bracelet aims to provide fast, efficient service to pilgrims, facilitating their movement in Makkah and to the holy sites. Worn on the pilgrim’s wrist throughout the spiritual journey, the bracelet allows any smartphone to read its chip without a special application by displaying a page containing the pilgrim’s photo, personal details, address, contact numbers, and emergency information. Designed for practicality and safety, it enables quick identification and assistance in the event of loss or an emergency.
