Riyadh, Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading lower here today, losing 2.83 points to close at 10,853.12.

The total value of the trading reported was SR 14 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 415 million, divided into over 450,000 deals.

While the stocks of 85 companies ended the trading higher, 96 companies' shares slumped.

The spread between the advancers and decliners stocks ranged from 7.31% to 3.57%.

The Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day gaining 198.97 points, to close at 23,295.50, with a valuation of SR 22 million and an overall tally of 185,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,094 deals.
