Saudi-Philippine Parliamentary Friendship Committee at Shura Council Meets with Philippine Ambassador to Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, The Saudi-Philippine Parliamentary Friendship Committee at the Shura Council, headed by council member and head of the committee Osamah Al-Rabeeah, held today at the council headquarters, a meeting with the Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Adnan V. Alonto and other officials at the embassy.

The two sides, during the meeting, which was attended by several members of the committee, highlighted the importance of working on enhancing bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Philippines and further boosting cooperation in various fields, mainly at the parliamentary level between the Shura Council and the Philippine parliament in a way that opens wider scopes for collaboration.

Attendees also referred to the significance of exchanging visits between the two countries, stressing the need to enhance communication between the two friendship committees at the Shura Council and the Philippine parliament and activate these visits to contribute to enhancing parliamentary ties between them.

The meeting also reviewed several important issues between the two countries so as to contribute to realizing mutual interests in various fields.
