Saudi-Indonesian Parliamentary Friendship Committee of Shura Council meets with Indonesian House of Representatives Delegation

Riyadh-- The Saudi-Indonesian Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting chaired by Council member and Chairman of the Committee, Osama bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, with a delegation from the bilateral cooperation group in Indonesia headed by Muhammad Idris, in Riyadh.

Al-Rabeeah stressed the importance of the historical ties between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, supported by permanent and continuous meetings between the leaderships and officials of the two countries.

The head of the Indonesian delegation praised the Saudi efforts to serve the pilgrims to ensure they performed their rituals with comfort and ease.

The two sides also addressed the parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Indonesian counterpart and ways to enhance them, additionally stressing the importance of activating the role of the friendship committees between the two sides through mutual visits and bilateral meetings to strengthen cooperation.
