Riyadh: Saudi Foreign Minister His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdulla received Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission.

Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that the two sides had discussed the Iranian nuclear programme and international efforts to tackle this issue. They also reviewed the agenda of the Munich Security Conference, being held in Germany.

The Saudi Minister and the EU High Representative also discussed the flagrant violations perpetrated by the terrorist Houthi militia, which disrupts political solution in Yemen.

The meeting also focused on relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the European Union, in addition to regional and international developments.
