OIC to Participate in Islamic Unity Conference

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), upon an invitation from the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, is scheduled to participate in the two-day Islamic Unity Conference to be held in Abu Dhabi as of tomorrow. The World Muslim Communities Council is organizing the event under the theme: “Islamic Unity: The Concept, Opportunities and Challenges”.

Dialogues will focus on the idea of Islamic unity in light of the opportunities and challenges that Islamic communities are dealing with in the 21st century.

OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha is planned to deliver a speech at the opening session to review efforts exerted by the organization to enable Muslim communities to mingle and positively engage in countries they live in.
