Riyadh: Governor of Najran Region Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed received President of the Arab Tourism Organization Dr. Bandar bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid today, marking a significant engagement aimed at boosting the local tourism sector.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Jalawi acknowledged the steady support given to the tourism sector by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This backing has been pivotal in achieving successes within the tourism sector, aligning with the objectives set forth by Saudi Vision 2030. He discussed the tourism potential in the Najran Region, highlighting the need for a comprehensive strategy involving government, private, and non-profit sectors, as well as community participation, to invigorate tourism and draw visitors.
Prince Jalawi emphasized the importance of collaboration between relevant authorities and the Arab Tourism Organization to advance tourism development initiatives in the region. He was briefed on the organization’s efforts and its role in promoting tourism initiatives to meet the set goals and expectations.
Dr. Al-Fuhaid expressed his gratitude to the governor for his dedication to enhancing the region’s tourism. He praised the abundance of notable tourist attractions in Najran, underscoring the region’s potential for tourism growth.
