Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources reviews investment opportunities at Saudi-Omani Investment Forum

Riyadh-- The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and other entities of the industry and mineral resources system participated in the Saudi-Oman Investment Forum and exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Investment in Riyadh, from 1 to February 04, in the presence of the Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Eng. Osama bin Abdulaziz Al-Zamil.

The Ministry and the participating agencies briefed the investors on the industrial sector in the Kingdom, and the size of the opportunities it provides, in addition to reviewing the services and incentives provided by the industry and mineral resources system and partner government agencies to facilitate the investors’ journey in the industrial sector and attract qualitative investments.

The participants also highlighted, through their special pavilion, a glimpse of the most important data about the national strategy for the industry, and the Ministry's institutional strategy, which aims to develop competitive and diversified sectors to attract large investors, small and medium enterprises and facilitate the localization of innovation, and the adoption of the technologies of the fourth industrial revolution. In addition, establishing the best regulations governing health, safety, and the environment to protect local communities, preserve the environment, and accelerate human capacity development in economic sectors to create future jobs.
