Riyadh, Under the patronage of the acting Minister of Media, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) will hold a ceremony here today on the occasion of the World Television Day which is internationally celebrated and observed every year on November 21st.

During the celebration, the SBA will honor a number of most notable media personalities in recognition of their contributions.

The SBA CEO, Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi said that this occasion is a celebration of Saudi television and its march in the system of building and developing this nation, during which it has been providing the viewers with the media message with all its dimensions in a form of multivariate diversity, technological advance and innovation.

He affirmed that Saudi TV, in coexistence with the World Television Day, seeks to keep pace with the media industry and its plurality.
