A statement by his media office said that "Maliki today chaired a meeting of the coalition members and winning candidates in the elections, and during the meeting, they discussed the latest political and security situation, and the results of the election, especially after the completion of the process manual counting and sorting."
He pointed out that "there is a serious understanding with many national forces to develop the positions in preparation for transition to other constitutional steps related to the formation of the largest bloc within the national space, which includes all national forces and the first meeting to name the three presidencies."
He called for "hard work and adherence to the national constants and communicate with the masses and provide proposals for laws that support the needs of Iraqis for services, stressing that" Iraq and its people deserve to work and sacrifice for progress and prosperity. "
