Kuwait city: Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz and the interior ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states at Bayan Palace. This meeting marked the occasion of the 42nd session held in the State of Kuwait.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the reception, Prince Abdulaziz conveyed greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Their messages included wishes for continued progress, prosperity for the State of Kuwait, its government and people, and success for the session.

The reception also involved a review of joint cooperation aspects between the ministries of interior of the GCC states. Discussions were held on ways to develop and strengthen these ties to serve common interests and contribute to consolidating security and stability in the region.
