Amman, Aug. Jordan recorded 1016 new infections with the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 791,466.

The Jordanian Ministry of Health explained, in a statement, that the total number of recoveries rose to 768,699 after reporting 511 additional cases, while the death tally rose to 10,320, after reporting twelve related cases.
