Jizan: The “Hirfah Market” in Jizan City has emerged as a prime destination for families and children during weekends, drawing significant visitor turnout to enjoy the traditional atmosphere and recreational activities hosted at the House of Culture as part of the Year of Handicrafts 2025 events.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the market’s corners were filled with activity and interaction, as henna, painting, pottery-making, and craft design workshops attracted girls and women. Meanwhile, traditional folk games created a joyful space where children gathered in group play, reviving scenes of the past with a contemporary spirit.

Several visitors explained that the market has become an entertainment and cultural hub for families on weekends, combining shopping and experience, and offering a modern model for reviving heritage in an interactive environment that blends art, entertainment, and education.
