Jeddah: Workshops held on the fourth day of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025 discussed a range of developmental and knowledge-based topics aimed at improving operational efficiency and enhancing the quality of services provided to pilgrims, with the participation of specialists from entities involved in the Hajj ecosystem.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the workshops addressed the pivotal role of data in decision-making within the Hajj ecosystem, as well as the application of industrial engineering and statistical analysis to big data generated from satisfaction and service quality surveys.
They also reviewed the role of applied programs in building and qualifying national talents to meet the labor market’s needs in the Hajj and Umrah sector by linking applied education outcomes with the practical skills required in the field. Discussions further highlighted the role of applied colleges in offering training programs that support the quality of services provided to pilgrims.
The sessions also focused on enhancing the efficiency of staff and service providers in pilgrims’ affairs offices, underscoring the importance of contributing to easing pilgrims’ journeys and overcoming challenges through effective advance preparation.
