The head of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Atwan Al-Atwani, announced that the political differences that are impeding the passage of the vote on the general budget so far are related to Articles 13_14.

Al-Atwani said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): "The Finance Committee is not a party to these disputes, and we do not bear responsibility for the delay in the voting session so far."

He added: "We are adopting the final formulations in agreement with the heads of the blocs and the presidency of Parliament."

It is noteworthy that the MPs of the Kurdistan Democratic Party entered the session hall, after the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, joined.
