Egypt’s Stock Exchange Loses 9.8 bln Pounds in a Week

The Egyptian stock exchange lost as much as 9.8 Egyptian pounds, during a week-long trading, putting the overall market capitalization for the listed companies, in the stock exchange at about 633.1 billion pounds against 642.9 pounds, in the previous week.

Performance of the main as well as the secondary markets' indices, collectively fell.

On the other hand, the weekly released report of the stock exchange pointed to the rise of trading value, reaching 26.2 billion pounds, through trading as much as 2.2 carried out securities, divided into 232,000 transactions.
