Manama, The Ministry of Housing has today announced that it would continue distributing more than 3000 units as part of the Salman Town project. ."The move is in lined with order issued by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to distribute 5000 units", said Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Policies and Services Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Hidan.
He underlined the royal directives which were issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa during the month of Ramadan to assess and meet citizens' needs. Dr. Al-Hidan paid tribute also to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, hailing the efforts exerted by the Government to implement its plan.
"The ministry is now focusing on the distribution of more than 1400 finished units at Island 14 of Salman Town until the end of this month", he said, adding that the finished units at Island 13 have already been distributed.
He reiterated the ministry's commitment to implemented the order which was issued by HRH the Crown Prince to distribute 5000 as planned, pointing out the distribution of units at the projects of Um Al-Hassam, Khalifa Town, Arad, Busaiteen, bloc 609 in Sitra, Al-Hijjiyat and Al-Lawzy, in addition to units of the Salman Town.
