Council of Arab Ministers of Justice Session Commences with Focus on Legal Cooperation

Cairo: The 41st session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice began at the Arab League General Secretariat, led by Sudanese Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Darf. The session saw the participation of various Arab justice ministers, including a delegation from the Kingdom headed by Vice Minister of Justice Najem Al-Zaid.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the session is set to tackle several critical issues aimed at enhancing joint Arab efforts in the judicial, legal, and legislative arenas. Key topics on the agenda include the finalization of Arab agreements to combat terrorism and its financing, as well as strategies to combat money laundering and drug trafficking.

The council is also focusing on several significant conventions, including the Arab Anti-Terrorism Convention and the Arab Convention against Money Laundering. Other subjects under discussion are the Arab Convention for Regulating the Status of Refugees in Arab States and the draft Arab Convention on the Protection of Personal Data.
