The General Directorate of Civil Defence has organised in cooperation with the Capital Governorate Police and the Directorate of Health and Social Affairs a mock exercise at a hotel in Seef district in association with 24 personnel and 6 vehicles. The scenario of the drill was a fire to examine the coordination capabilities.
Director-General of Civil Defence, Brigadier Abdulaziz Al Ammer highlighted the importance of such exercises to test capabilities and readiness in dealing with certain situations to ensure high-quality services and development of the skills of manpower. The event also aimed to train the security and safety teams at hotels on general safety and first aid.
