The Ministry of Health warned here today against negligence in implementing precautionary measures related to the Coronavirus pandemic, reaffirming the importance of abiding by them

On the other hand, the ministry reported 1,106 new confirmed infections and 1,274 new recoveries, while the active cases rose to 10,013, including 1,394 in critical conditions, in the last 24-hour.

The ministry's new statistics pointed that the overall cases in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stood at 448,284 against 430,937 recoveries.

Fatalities' toll reached 7,334 as 14 new deaths were reported.

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health reaffirmed here today that the second dose of Coronavirus vaccine is available for the elderly category from 60 years old and over, at all inoculation centers, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In the same context, the ministry announced new statistics related to the Coronavirus latest developments, in the Kingdom, during the last 24-hour, which included detecting 1215 new confirmed infection cases and 1161 new recoveries, with the active cases reaching 10195, and 1355 cases in critical conditions.

The overall toll of infections in the Kingdom rose to 447,178 cases against as many as 429,663 recoveries, while the fatalities stood at 7320 as 11 new deaths were reported.

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced, in a statement here today, that 1,183 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 445,963, including 10,152 active cases undergoing treatment.

Of these, there are 1,353 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

It added that 14 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities at 7,309.

Meanwhile, as many as 1,040 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 428,502.

Hodeida, The Mobile Medical Clinics of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) have provided treatment services for 1,381 beneficiaries in Al-Khawkhah Directorate, Hodeida Governorate, Yemen, during May 06-12, 2021.

The internal medicine clinic served 668 patients. The emergency department examined 334 patients, epidemiological clinic provided services for 34 beneficiaries and the clinical nutrition department saw 3 patients.

The reproductive health department examined 13 beneficiaries and the trauma departments saw 193 people. Medical referral department received 2 beneficiaries, and the pediatric clinic examined 134 people.

The healthcare department saw 605 individuals, blood transfusion department received 4 people and the Obstetrics and Gynecology provided services for 13 patients.

The clinics also dispensed 1,385 prescriptions and conducted lab tests for 306 patients.

Dakar, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) launched the voluntary medical program of cardiac catheterization for children in the Republic of Senegal during the period 28-22 May 2021, in cooperation with the Muslim World League (MWL).

At the beginning of the campaign, the volunteer medical team visited the general hospital in Senegal for catheterization operations and was briefed on the necessary equipment, devices and patient preparation procedures

Since the launch, the team has conducted 11 therapeutic cardiac catheterizations for children, while 50 catheter surgeries will be conducted in cardiac catheterization for children of families with limited income.

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health reasserted the importance of abiding by the precautionary measures and preventive procedures such as putting on the mask, avoiding hands-shaking and apply the social distancing to limit the spread of Coronavirus and maintain the health and safety of the entire individuals of the society.

The ministry announced new statistics of the Coronavirus latest developments, in the last 24-hour, including detecting 1,157 confirmed cases against 987 recoveries, while the active cases rose to 9,130 among them 1,334 critical conditions.

The overall statistics of infections, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stood at 442,071 against a tally of recoveries at 425,677.

On the other hand, as many as 15 deaths were reported, raising the fatalities toll to 7,264.
