Bahrain All Share Index closes higher

Manama, Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,953.98 points, marking an increase of 5.10 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the communication services sector, the financial sector and the consumer staples sector. Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 816.94 points, marking an increase of 6.95 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 65 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,441,676 worth BD 512,506. Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 63.08% of the total value of securities traded. Source: Bahrain News Agency
