Arab Parliament Denounces International Silence over Terrorist Houthi Attacks against Saudi Arabia

Cairo, The Arab Parliament denounced the continuation of the despicable and repeated attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the international silence over these violations, which amount to war crimes.

In a statement issued today, the Arab Parliament confirmed that the Houthi’s terrorist targeting of the industrial city in Jazan, as well as launching of two ballistic missiles towards the city of Abha that were intercepted and destroyed, is a new crime added to the criminal records of the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia.

The parliament stressed that the continuation of the Houthi militia’s systematic crimes and its constant targeting of civilians and civilian facilities reflects its blatant challenge to international law, warning that the failure to take deterrent stances provides this terrorist militia with a negative message and enables it to persist in spreading chaos and undermining security and stability in the region.

The Arab Parliament reiterated its support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to defend its territory, preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents, and protect the national capabilities and gains.
