The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, will participate tomorrow in the regional conference in support of Iraq, in response to an invitation he received from the Iraqi side.

The Arab League said in a statement today that the conference seeks to mobilize regional and international support for Iraq, with the aim of enhancing its stability and prosperity, and supporting its continuous efforts to confront the huge challenges at the security and economic levels.

The event will also be attended by a group of leaders.
