Abadi Receives A Telephone Call From Amir Of Kuwait

BAGHDAD, Iraqi Prime Minister, Haidar al-Abadi received a telephone call from the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Sunday.

A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Information Office said that during the meeting, they discussed boosting bilateral relations in various fields and praising the efforts of the Iraqi government in pursuing the remaining terrorist cells of Daesh and the political and public situation in the country.

Sheikh Sabah said that the State of Kuwait is ready to provide all that would help Iraq during the coming period of construction, reconstruction and stability in addition to assistance in some projects, including water desalination in the province of Basra and other projects.
