Johannesburg, South Africa, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché at Saudi Embassy in South Africa, bid farewell today to the pilgrims who are hosted as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visit to perform Hajj rituals this year 1445 AH. Upon departure from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, they were seen off by the Charge d'Affaires at Saudi Embassy, Ali bin Yahya Najmi, and the Religious Attaché at Saudi embassy, Engineer Mohammad bin Abdul Salam Ashour. The pilgrims expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude to the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this generous hospitality, and for its efforts in serving Islam and Muslims. N'Djamena, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed yesterday 700 food baskets in N'Djamena, the capital of Chad, benefiting 4,200 individuals with special needs, as part of the project to support food security in the Chad for the year 2024. Makkah: General Directorate of Civil Defense is moving ahead with preparations to receive pilgrims for the Hajj season 1445 AH at the Jamarat Bridge and the surrounding areas and provide services during the pilgrims'' pebble throwing. The directorate underlines readiness of its units deployed at the bride's corridors, surrounding yards and main entrances with highly-equipped personnel and technical preparations to implement the general emergency plan for Hajj and deal with any risks in cooperation with other concerned agencies. Madinah: The branch of the Ministry of Health in the Madinah region launched the Smart Robot service on Saturday in the Central Area near the Prophet's Mosque. The branch indicated that the service aims to present and broadcast educational messages, guidance, and health instructions for the safety and awareness of pilgrims in over 96 languages from around the world. Meanwhile, the volunteer and awareness teams of the Health Ministry branch of Madinah continue their fieldwork with 220 male and female volunteers and over 12 teams working around the clock to serve the guests of Allah. They provide health and emergency services during the Hajj season at the Prophet's Mosque and its access roads, Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, and Haramain Train Station, as well as the mosques of Quba, Khandaq, Sayyid Al-Shuhada, and Miqat Dhul-Hulaifah. Within just six seconds, inspectors can verify vehicle legality, driver compliance, document inspections, and report any violations to the data and control center. This translates to a remarkable 600% reduction in vehicle inspection time, ultimately enhancing compliance rates and the overall quality of transport services for pilgrims. By streamlining inspections and boosting efficiency, the virtual glasses contribute to a smoother and more seamless pilgrimage experience.
